I've realized that talk of children comes up more frequently when I'm not in school or unoccupied. The conversations usually go something like this:
Lindsay: Hey, James...
James: Yes?
Lindsay: When can we start our family?
James: Ummmm....

Logistically, it would make sense to wait until I'm done with school and maybe even until James is done. I don't know how long it would take to get pregnant (knowing that would be great for planning.) I've had a couple of my friends who took years to get pregnant but I also have friends who got pregnant really fast after getting off the pill. Everyone is different, right? I just really wish I knew when things were going to happen. On the plus side, I do know that my last semester starts on August 29th. Isn't that crazy? I swear I was just blogging about how apprehensive I felt about grad school. It's almost done!

That post reminds me of the reoccurring fascination I have with bangs. I keep thinking I want them again. My history with bangs hasn't been great. Whenever I get them I usually regret it because they either look funny or I just get sick of them. Either way, I probably shouldn't do it. Here are some pictures of great bangs:
Julie Christie in "Darling"
Zooey Deschanel (recent, probably at an awards show) Doesn't she look THRILLED?
And Marianne Faithfull in the 1960's.

For some evidence of why I SHOULDN'T get bangs see here, here and here.

We're moving next week, we have a LOT to do!

You look cute with bangs if they aren't too short. If you want my opinion about starting a family, we can talk whenever you want. :) Love you!

Baby: 5 years and counting.... don't wait too long, or you might find out theres some problem or other and then it gets expensive.

You will be a great mom whenever it happens! :) Maybe it will be a relief to know that even when someone gives you a timeline, they aren't always right. I was told I would never have kids, and we tried for 1.5 years and then we got one. They told me that it would take my body at least 6 months to 'recover' from my IUD, more likely a year because of personal things, and I tried to plan based on that, and I got pregnant in a month. Heavenly Father is the only one who truly seems to know.. No matter when though, you will be an amazing mom! Congrats on being almost done with grad school!

by the way I love you with bangs! the Short ones with you all alone are super cute! I did that once and regretted it. Once they grew out to where I liked them... yeah it was worse... I looked like I was a mess or didn't do my hair... blah.

Good luck and dude... we really need to get together.. do you read your comments ;) ???

Love you!
